Recognize ultrasound cases and incorporate ultrasound into your practice. Create a study for a telemedicine consultation. Learn the basic knobs necessary to create a diagnostic image. Obtain accurate ultrasound images of the 5 largest abdominal organs. Optimize images with the machine controls, do measurements, and follow a scanning protocol. Recognize artifacts and quickly assess a trauma case with ultrasound.

Dr. Echandi received her DVM from Ohio State University in 2003. After completing her radiology residency in 2007 from the University of Tennessee, she then accepted an assistant professor position in the radiology department of Ohio State University.
