Soft Tissue Ultrasound Level 2: Intermediate to Advanced
Learn the normal and abnormal appearance of all abdominal organs, including pancreas, adrenal glands, and lymph nodes. In addition, scanning technique, machine controls necessary to create a high quality diagnostic image, measurements, and following a consistent scanning protocol will be emphasized. Ultrasound guided aspiration and biopsy technique will be covered.

Dana Neelis, DVM, MS, DACVR
Dr. Neelis received her DVM from Michigan State University in 2006. After completing her radiology residency at Washington State University in 2011, she took a position as assistant professor at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. She performed an equine ultrasound and cardiology fellowship with Dr. Virginia Reef at the University of Pennsylvania, New Bolton Center, prior to her radiology training. Dr. Neelis enjoys imaging all species and has extensive experience with the equine.
